The Caps issued a quick assertion Friday confirming that Leipsic’s contract can be terminated after photographs of personal Instagram group messages, which included Leipsic and Florida Panthers’ Jack Rodewald, had been circulated Wednesday night and appeared to point out Leipsic making vulgar and profane remarks — considered one of which was directed on the spouse of his former teammate, Tanner Pearson.
